I stand on an empty forest road. Around me, a deafening silence and darkness. I walk on — my mind calm, slightly anxious, with a sense of adventure.

Presented in light boxes within complete darkness, the work explores the limits of peripheral vision and imagination — the space between what the eye perceives and what the mind constructs. It is rooted in the artist’s nocturnal journeys and experiences of winter darkness, where human presence is sensed only indirectly, through traces, movements, and fleeting impressions.

Through long-exposure photography, with exposures extending up to 60 minutes, the work enters a liminal space where time is stretched and suspended, allowing moments that would otherwise remain imperceptible to emerge as visible traces.
