Light installation, plastic, cable, wood, pigment print on film.
Installation view, Estonian Open Air Museum, 2026.
Light Installation House Spirit is a temporary space built among a grove of trees that, like a beacon, draws the viewers closer, inviting them to search and discover. It creates an opportunity to experience the interplay of light and darkness, to notice the presence of the space or perhaps to forget it altogether.
The work can be experienced both from the outside and from within. Creating a new space in a forest or park inevitably alters the existing environment, yet stepping inside also transforms the perception of the place that has been created. Inside the structure, a photographic work can be found, which, through the materials and textures depicted on diapositive photographs, seemingly reconstructs the space anew.
